Rosedale Restaurant on Tuesday, March 24th, 6:30pm.
Chefs Susan Spicer, Allison Birdsall, and Sommelier Michelle Gueydan are hosting special guest Eduardo Castellet Nogues. Through his company Think Global Wines. Eduardo is proud to continue his mother's commitment to bring traditional, family-owned Spanish wines to the American palate. Producers on our tasting docket: Buil & Gine from Rueda and Priorat, Mokoroa from Txakoli, Fragras do Lecer from Galicia, Eladio Pineiro from Rias Baixas, and R. Lopez de Heredia from Rioja, whose family continues to adhere to their ancestors' winemaking doctrine blueprinted in the 1880s!
The culinary pairings for these beautiful wines will feature Crab & Avocado Canapes, Serrano & Manchengo Tartlets, a NOLA-style Paella with Crawfish & Chorizo, Lamb with Fried Sage Salsa Verde, and "Chilindron," a Venison Stew.
